2010 Alburnett Children's Benefit Day
Activities
Mark your calendars for
Saturday, August 7th. The Foundation will be continuing its tradition of
participation in the Alburnett Children's Benefit Day fundraising event.
Foundation activities will
include the
Pirate Dash, a pancake breakfast at the Farmers State Bank parking lot,
bingo and new this year, Drive One 4 UR School.
2nd Annual Pirate Dash 5K
Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Run
Race begins at 8:00 am.
Registration from 7:00 to 7:45 am. Participants may also join Todd
Neighbor of Physiotherapy Associates for warm-up/stretching prior to the
race.
FREE pancake breakfast with
race entry/number!
Post race massages available
from a licensed therapist.
Sign up before July 30th for
early discounted registration.

Pancake Breakfast
Serving from 8:00 - 9:45 am at
the Farmers State Bank parking lot.
Cost: $5 per adult, $3 for
kids 12 and under.
Volunteers are needed,
especially for set up at 7:00 am. Please contact Kelly Baier at 393-5180 or

Bingo
Immediately after the parade until 1:00 pm at the Farmers State Bank parking
lot.
Drive One 4 UR School
The Foundation is currently working on details for a new fundraising event
to take place during Benefit Days, Drive One 4 UR School, in association
with Junge Lincoln Mercury Cedar Rapids.
Ford will donate $20 per test drive of a new Lincoln or Mercury.
Our goal is 300 test drives for a total donation of $6000 so round up a
friend or two and have some fun supporting the Foundation!
The Foundation is also sponsoring the 3rd Annual Alumni Softball Game
on Sunday August 8th. Click here for
